My motivation for this project is both nostalgic and professional. I have felt a desire to commit a certain amount of my creative time outside of my studio and towards finding inspiration in nature, in my experiences exploring the hot spring sites, and in the history and impermanence of these sites.

My original work based on this research incorporates aspects of acoustic ecology, storytelling, composition, and visual music.
