Glenwood Springs is a lovely town a couple of hours west of Denver. There are three options for hot springs soaking here: Glenwood Hot Springs, Yampah Spa & Salon, and Iron Mountain Hot Springs. The images above are of Glenwood Hot Springs. This is a huge facility that caters to everyone’s needs. There are water slides and a kids play area, two large pools, spa services, restaurants, shuttle service, etc. It can be a bit “busy” if you aren’t with kids, but if you prefer more of a serene environment, then go to Iron Mountain in the evening. Iron Mountain has several small soaking pools and is much more adult oriented (with bar service). Yampah offers a hot springs vapour cave, for steaming, along with the usual spa services.
