Cave and Basin: research

I spent one week at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies in October 2012 conducting research in the archives. It was a very productive week;I left with a large pile of photocopies and a long list of books to read. There are so many interesting stories to tell and it will take time for me to decide how to disseminate this information in a creative, easy-to-access way.

Please stay posted for more information in the (hopefully) near future.

In the meantime, if you are interested I highly recommend visiting the Cave and Basin National Historic Site where you can see audio/visual displays of the history of the Cave and Basin and the birth of Parks Canada, and take a tour with one of the knowledgeable and charismatic tour guides.
